Transformation using Facades

We at Painterior find it in our collective conscience, to really do a good job & do justice to the repair jobs we take up & not only deliver a good quality job with enhanced durability but also make sure that the building façade gets the attention it deserves & looks good for another 30 – 40 years.

Details & features can be in built to rid the building of original deficiencies & modifications can easily be incorporated to suit certain changes made [most common being amalgamation of balconies into the rooms] during the life of the structure to suit the user requirement.

Thus, chajjas [weather shades] can be incorporated to protect windows from leakages, bands can be made in the plaster of the blank walls to control / limit the thickness of the plaster in that panel [for durability] & to deflect rain water travelling down a huge blank wall, step form detail incorporated on window cills to permanently eliminate leakage of rainwater through the same especially in cases where Aluminium sliding windows are fitted into balcony upstands. Fins, RCC grilles, GRC lattice work, etc., etc. can be added in front of plumbing ducts to camouflage the same & create pleasing & attractive aesthetics.

Plain looking drab facades can be made hugely attractive by incorporating fins, grilles, etc. as above & also by as a well thought of colour scheme.

However, workmanship is & will remain the most important aspect in not only the quanlity of the repairs & its durability, but also aesthetic wise.

Even if a façade is plain looking – if good quality workmanship is ensured – all line level is correct, plaster rendered surfaces are even, weather shades are correctly aligned – it make a massive difference in the looks of the building façade – And these looks are then to stay & please the occupants & general public for years to come.
